It either works additively: 10%+7.5%=17.5%or multiplicatively 1.0.1+(1-0.9.0.075)=16.57%The way you proposed it would work, critical chance mods would do nothing if there was no base critchance, and it would in no way be worth it if there was a base critchance.Most games i have played do crit chance aditively, either way it only makes a big difference at high amounts of crit chance. Also since it's possible to get over 100% crit chance (to make super-crits that appear in red text doing 3-6 times normal damage), I'm positive that it has to be additive, otherwise the mechanic would only be there for the sake of stealth classes.Either way I'm willing to bet a good amount of money that it doesn't work like you described it. I just put a +25% crit chance mod on my dual boltos. Through the course of 5 or 6 runs for Nyx parts, I can safely say that I was lucky if I got one crit after emptying 30 rounds into the boss. Or Disruptors or Toxic dudes or even the chasers.

I honestly don't think I ever got 3 crits before reloading. I agree that its an absolutely absurd way to calculate crit since it makes the mods useless, but it is most definitely not one of the two traditional calculations.PS: those games were with a 60% multishot too, so 48 chances to crit each mag with 1-2 crits each. Nor did i say you got double crit, you get double crits, as in ultra crits: crits that do 3-6 times normal damage that appear in red text. Either way, could you link me to the acclaimed forum post? I'd be very interested in seeing it, and excuse me if I don't take your word for it, it just sounds so completely absurd.Edit: I see what you mean now, yeah what i meant is that if you get 100% crit chance according to the way you described the mechanics should work that would effectively double the crit rate, but clearly that's now how that works.
Warframe Highest Crit Chance
It could very well have a different mechanic specifically for stealth. But again, I really would like to see the forum post, or the mod confirming it or whatever.
Christine's CoS Silencer Rifle is dangerously close to unpatched Sniper Rifle stats, this mod lowers the damage and crit damage to 52 while decreasing the crit chance to 1.5.The durability is increased by 10 points though, allowing about 50 more shots with non-handload ammo.2.0 is a tweak that makes the CoS Silencer more viable for combat than the first version. The fire rate is slightly increased, the AP cost reduced to 31 from 38 and the crit rate increased to 2, this version doesn't have increased durability.
Crit Chance Pistol Mods
It's DPS is virtually identical to the standard sniper rifle with critical hits taken into account. It works best with my mod for the Gobi Campaign Sniper Rifle.
