When Will I Decay League Of Legends
So first things first. I am currently in the 3520 deficit where in I would drop out, if I lose 1 more game. So I decided not to play anymore this season. But I am very worried about the sr decay kind of thing. Let me give you some context. So It says that I have 4 days to decay and the season ends in 5 days, but later on the day it says 4 days to decay and season ends in 4 days.
So basically I am like hours late. So eventually I will decay throughout those hours. My question is how many Sr do I decay per hour?
If 24 hrs is a grand total of 25 Sr decay. Do I lose 1 Sr per hour then?
Because I would definitely lose my master tier if it was in exact 24 hrs(I would go down to 3495) and I just want to keep my emblem throughout the season even though I have a higher season high. I just don't want to end the season with a diamond badge. Thank you for your response.
Generally Riot will turn elo decay on right after preseason ends in League of Legends. So what is there to do in preseason? Tons of great things, you can go out and not have to play league of legends and worry about your rating depleting over time. Or if your a die hard fan of League you can keep playing and enjoy all your favorite content.
Once decay triggers a fixed amount of 25 SR is deducted for every 24 hours that you continue to be absent. So once the deadline hits, you would be in 3495 (and would instantly drop to Diamond since Masters and higher drop rank instantly when they fall out of range). In other words, I'd play matches now and continue to fight for your rank and tier. Remember you can pad up to 7 days of not hitting decay by playing 5 matches in a row (36 hours for every match).

Because you can't decay 25 Sr exactly in 24 hrs, it's like an over time thing so for example 1 Sr per 1 hr, then the total will be 25 hrs at the end of the day(24 hrs) to make things clear out I've experienced that because I don't play this game anymore that much. So I found out how that one works.

So it's basically not full 24 hrs. If you decay you'll still have the masters icon indicating decay to other players.
