There are no binding of isaac mods on gamebanana, gamemaps, or the steam workshop. This is a unique circumstance and it doesn't make sense to even mention any of those sites.The reason I suggested that you should say that the moddingofisaac site doesn't have every mod is because that site is still in beta and most of the mods there came from this subreddit.
I suppose there are original mods there too, but when I wrote my post I was basically making the assumption that the 'best' mods were here on this subreddit. I used my mods as an example, but I didn't mean to claim they were among the best, I just meant to use them as examples of mods that could not be found on that site. Sorting this sub by top rated of all time will give you a number of mods, some new, some old, but all of them are older than the moddingofisaac site.So, man, it has nothing to do with those sites. The modding activity in the Binding of Isaac modding community isn't large enough to be spread out over any number of sites. Maybe the community might develop enough in a couple of months or weeks so that there are entirely separate collections of mods in this sub and the moddingofisaac site, but for the moment it's mostly just a second host for a number of mods which can be found here.
I'd recommend sorting this subreddit's posts by 'best' for 'all time'.Shortcut:However, keep in mind that some people may have released newer versions of their mods that have not been upvoted as much as their earlier versions, so I would recommend searching each person's post history for newer versions before you download the ones you find. If they haven't released a newer version, then go ahead. I know, for example, that has released a newer version of his 'Worse Item Descriptions' mod, but he didn't edit his most popular post with a link to his rerelease, and I'm not actually sure if the download links lead to the same place!Anyway, I've got a few personal recommendations I suppose.
